Can I switch plans later?+
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll only pay the prorated difference. When downgrading, you'll receive credit toward your next billing period.
Is there a free trial?+
Absolutely. All plans come with a 14-day free trial. Plan details are shown before checkout before a paid subscription starts. You'll have full access to all features in your chosen tier.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept major cards and ACH bank transfers for QuoteAnvil subscriptions through Stripe. Contractor customer payments may be processed by Stripe or PayPal where enabled and approved. PayPal customer invoice payments are direct-to-contractor through the contractor's own connected PayPal merchant account; QuoteAnvil SaaS billing stays separate.
How do online payment processing fees work?+
For customer payments, the contractor chooses whether the customer pays the displayed processor cost, the business absorbs it, or the cost is split where supported. Stripe card payments are listed at Stripe's published US online card rate of 2.9% + 30¢, with ACH typically 0.8% capped at $5 where enabled. PayPal/Venmo checkout depends on PayPal approval and provider rules; at launch, QuoteAnvil does not aggregate PayPal funds, hold customer funds, or take PayPal partner/platform transaction fees.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer discounts for annual billing?+
Our listed prices are already our best annual rates. We don't offer monthly billing — this keeps our prices low and predictable for you.
What happens if I exceed my AI credits?+
You can purchase additional AI credits as needed, or upgrade to a higher tier for more credits. We'll always notify you before you run out.
How long do I keep invoices, estimates, and customer records?+
Paid users keep core business records like invoices, estimates, quote history, customer information, and payment records while their account remains active. If your account grows past included storage, you can purchase more storage instead of losing access to business records.
What about schedule history?+
Schedule history is retained for 5 years. We plan to provide export reminders as schedule entries approach that window, with CSV or similar export options so you can keep your own archive.
Can I buy more storage?+
Yes. Each plan includes storage, and additional storage add-ons can be purchased when your company grows past the included amount. Storage upgrades will be handled through Stripe checkout links or billing portal options.
Is my data secure?+
We use encrypted connections, established hosting/authentication/payment providers, access controls, and security reviews. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and we do not sell your personal information.
Do you offer refunds?+
We offer a full refund within the first 30 days if you're not satisfied. After 30 days, you can cancel anytime but refunds are not provided for unused time.
